I’ll keep this one short and sweet, as many of you are aware I had my scan yesterday and I want to get an update out there. Thanks to everyone who was praying for a good report, and thanks to God for giving us what we so desperately wanted! … A few of the tumors in my lungs look like they’ve grown a bit, but there’s no sign of runaway progression or new areas of concern. This is more solid evidence that the cancer’s slow growing and buys us more time to figure out how to ultimately whip it. They’re giving me 4 more months until I go back in for another scan, and it looks like I get to have the port taken out of my chest for now. This summer was an amazing, amazing blessing – now we get a fall (and Christmas)! I’ve got a lot to say about all this (shocker), but for now just another big thanks to everyone for the prayers and love and support, and a big thanks to God for having mercy on our family!
